New Zealand Comtemporary Artist
As far back as I can remember I have wanted to paint, and now that the children have grown and spare time has come back into my life I have picked up a paint brush once again.
I just adore colour, strong texture, warmth and the feeling of being drawn into a painting. My influences come from many streams; an angry ocean, soft warm sand, the sun rising through heavy cloud, a clear blue sky. By incorporating these facets into my work I produce abstract pieces and female nudes that are striking and at the same time very pleasing to the eye.
Harmony is now in print - limited edition
Harmony, a collaboration of two paintings Kerryn by Rosie Harper and Warm II by myself, was used to promote our exhibition at the Pixel Ink Gallery here in Wellington.
Everyone, including ourselves were so enamoured with the image, that we have produced this into limited edition prints. These prints are printed in high quality light fast inks on archival heavy paper and are ready for framing.
There will only be 20 prints available, signed by both artists with two being exhibited within the Pixel Ink Gallery. This is a little bit of history in the making..
Please feel free to have a look at my work online or at any of the places mentioned above and to contact me direct if you have any questions.
